Meet Our Practitioners
At Amrita Nutrition, our intention is to ensure that we offer personalised, friendly, and clinically evidenced advice. Our team is available to discuss any of our products over the phone, via email, or using our online chat feature. We welcome queries from both clients and their practitioners.
If you are working with a healthcare professional, who has recommended products to you, they should always be consulted first before speaking with one of our in-house practitioners.
If for any reason you cannot contact your practitioner and you need help, we will always try our best to assist you. Our practitioners can offer general advice, based solely upon the information provided to them by the client. It is important that you refer back to your own health care provider before acting upon the advice of our practitioners as we do not have access to your full case history.
Our team is led by David Brassey, who founded the business back in 2007 and is a nutritional and functional medicine practitioner himself. Originally called Functional Nutrition, the business has now branched into two distinct websites, Amrita Nutrition (exclusively for practitioners and their clients) and Supplement Hub.

She works with clients in the West Yorkshire area to support symptoms associated with a wide variety of health conditions from autoimmune diseases to IBS, skin conditions to hormonal imbalances to name a few. She provides one-to-one consultations, group work in the workplace, runs workshops and enjoys the challenge of getting to the root cause of her clients’ symptoms, helping them achieve their wellbeing goals. She graduated from the University of South Wales in 2006 with a degree in Chiropractic and qualified from the College of Naturopathic Medicine as a nutritional therapist in 2014. She has also completed courses in Emotional Freedom Technique and has an interest in the mind-body connection.
"I genuinely love to help people so if I can I will always try to get to the bottom of a health problem for someone. There are so many factors at play when a person becomes unwell. I like to help people discover their unique reasons. It's helpful to find and manage the cause, not just the symptoms."
Business Development Manager for Eastern Europe
Aletta has over 5 years of experience in clinical practice, mentors at the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), and has published articles in health magazines in both the United Kingdom and Romania.
When she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, her life completely changed. She did not want to undergo a high-risk and dangerous surgery without exploring the alternatives first. So she decided to take her health into her own hands and joined the world of nutrition.
After extensive research and experimenting with different supplements and treatments, we're happy to be able to say, Aletta's tumor has not grown! She continues to regularly test her prolactin levels, to ensure it stays within range.
Her mission is to help other people regain their health. Aletta works with complex cases that need a new perspective and offers her clients the tools and products they need to improve their wellbeing.
Aletta is based in Europe and speaks English, Romanian, and Hungarian.
